Tom is a product of the pre-academy and signed for the Club as an U9. Tom has an infectious character and excels with his distribution from the back. Tom has previous experience playing senior football on a ‘work experience’ deal with Pilkington FC in the North West Counties League. The goalkeeper memorably had a standout performance for Latics U18s in the 2-0 victory against Charlton Athletic at the Valley which saw Kieran Driscoll’s side crowned as the Professional Development League National Champions. He has established himself as a mainstay in the starting XI at the start of the 2021/22 campaign, and is gaining quite the reputation for his ability to produce saves from the penalty spot.
