Hailing from Toxteth in Liverpool, Jarma Mohamed signed a two-year scholarship with Wigan Athletic prior to the start of the 2022/23 Professional Development League campaign. 

Having previously gained a high level of football education with the likes of Liverpool, Manchester City and Blackburn Rovers, Jarma is a brave central midfield player who has often played above his age group during his time at the DW Stadium. 

Known for his ability to handle the ball in pressured situations, Jarma has been a vital cog in Latics' U18s side, often leading by example in the engine room.
