Jack was recruited by Latics Academy after he impressed in an U14s fixture against the Club for Wirral schoolboys. He was highlighted by former Latics’ Head of Academy Recruitment Kenny Williams following the match, and subsequently joined the Club following a successful trial period.

Jack arrived at the Club as a right-winger before switching positions to full-back at U16s level after a memorable performance against Stoke City. A versatile player who can play in defence and further forward, Jack excels in 1v1 situations with his standout attribute being his explosive pace.

Now in the second year of his scholarship, Jack has made a strong start to the 2022/23 Professional Development League, scoring in the victories against Sheffield United and Crewe Alexandra.
