A versatile midfielder, Bettoni is primarily deployed as an attacking midfielder, where he is able to showcase his excellent technical ability.

During his time with the U16s, Bettoni has already built up experience in the older age groups, developing his versatility and understanding of the game while playing for Latics U17s and U18s during his time in the Academy.
