Danny Welsby was monitored by Latics’ former head of academy recruitment Kenny Williams as an U13, and signed for the Club in June 2021 after a spell with Everton.
An attacking-minded player who particularly thrives on the right flank, Danny entered his second year as a scholar at the start of the 2022/23 Professional Development League campaign.
After contributing to a number of goals last term, Danny will be hoping to continue his exciting progression at the DW Stadium over the next 12 months.
