Rarmani Edmonds-Green arrived on a season-long loan from Championship counterparts Huddersfield Town on Transfer Deadline Day.
Hailing from London, Edmonds-Green was previously at the Nike Academy as a youngster before signing for Huddersfield Town on his 17th birthday in January 2016. He went on to captain the Terriers’ U18s side, before stepping up to the U23s in February 2017.
Edmonds-Green’s first senior loan soon followed at Brighouse Town in 2019, and he helped them win the Northern Premier League Division One East Play-Offs during his 13 appearances at St Giles Road.
Later in the same year, Edmonds-Green headed out on loan to National League side Bromley, for whom he played nine games, before being recalled by the Terriers. He made his Championship debut in the Club’s 1-0 win over Charlton Athletic, before moving to Swindon Town on loan for the remainder of the 2019/20 campaign.
After making 24 appearances for the Terriers in the 2020/21 campaign, with a large majority of those coming in the Championship, Edmonds-Green made the switch to Rotherham United on a season-long loan in August 2021.
His time at the AESSEAL New York Stadium was a huge success, as the defender made 38 appearances in all competitions, scoring against Gillingham on the final day of the 2021/22 campaign to help the Millers win promotion back to the Championship at the first time of asking.
Despite being in the relative infancy of his career, Edmonds-Green has played over 100 senior games and adds further strength to Leam Richardson’s defence after completing his Deadline Day move.
