Striker Will Keane is in his second spell with Latics after joining on a short-term contract in October 2020. Keane previously featured for Latics in 2013, during his first loan spell away from Manchester United, where he progressed through the academy to make three first team appearances for The Red Devils. The brother of England international Michael, Will's career has been disrupted by injury and he'll be hoping to kickstart his league career with Latics in 2020. Keane has previously had loan spells with QPR, Sheffield Wednesday and Preston North End. He joined Hull City on a permanent transfer in August 2016, but featured fewer than 30 times for the Tigers in his three-year stay on Humberside. Towards the end of his time with Hull, Keane joined Ipswich Town on loan, a move which was later made permanent. During his time at Portman Road, Keane featured 29 times and scored six goals.
