Romanian Alex Dobre signs for Latics on loan from Premier League side AFC Bournemouth in the January Transfer Window.
Dobre moved to Latics after making his debut for the Cherries in January 2020, coming on as a substitute in Bournemouth's 4-0 win over Luton Town in the Emirates FA Cup.
Dobre's debut followed a number of matchday squad involvement's with Eddie Howe's side as the Romanian - who topped the scoring charts in Bournemouth's U23s - featured on the bench in Premier League matches against Chelsea and West Ham United.
Born in Bucharest, Dobre moved to England as an 18-year-old, signing for Bournemouth from Viitorul Constanța.
A year later, he signed for Bury on a short-term loan deal, in which time he made 12 first team appearances for the League One Shakers. In the same season, he made a temporary move to Rochdale, where he made five appearances and scored his first senior goal in a 3-0 win at Walsall.
Dobre returned to the Vitality Stadium before furthering experience with a spell in League Two at the end of the 2018-19 season, with Yeovil Town. The Romania U21 international made 21 appearances for the Glovers.
