Wales international who signed for Latics on a permanent basis from Sheffield United - returning to the DW for second spell - in the 2018-19 season.
Lee Evans made his second loan move to the DW Stadium in August 2018, making the switch from fellow Championship side Sheffield United with a view to a permanent move in January 2019.
Evans was a youth team player at Bristol Rovers before making his senior bow with Newport County before then League One club Wolves picked up on his potential and signed him in January 2013.
The midfielder spent five years in total with Wolves, making 67 appearances whilst also spending time on loan with Bradford City and latterly Latics before his move to Sheffield United in January 2018.
Evans was key to a positive start for Paul Cook as Latics manager in 2017-18, featuring 23 times in his first spell before the Blades made a permanent offer for his services.
After just a year at Bramall Lane, though, Evans is back at Latics looking to recapture the form of his previous stay at the DW.
