Latics Women travel to Harrison's Playing Fields for a top-of-the-table clash

Wigan Athletic Women will be hoping to strengthen their grip at the top of the Lancashire Women's County League Premiership when facing second-placed Blackburn Community Sports Club.

Latics, who marked their return to league action with a 5-0 victory at Whitehaven a fortnight ago, will make the trip to Harrison's Playing Fields on Sunday, 8 February (2pm kick-off).

Danielle Young's side will be presented with the opportunity to move three points clear at the summit of the table, with two games in hand over Blackburn, to build on their lead further. Latics will head into the fixture on the back of having a full week to rest and recharge, looking to continue their perfect record in all competitions.
