Wigan Athletic Women is proud to announce a momentous occasion in the Club's history; the first-ever home fixture at the newly completed Edge Hall Road Stadium will take place on Sunday, 28 September 2025, against Whitehaven FC.

The redevelopment of Edge Hall Road has been a long time in the making and acts as a real fundamental statement in the Club’s aspirations for the Women & Girls pathway. Edge Hall Road is more than just a new stadium - it's been built for the future of Women's Sport in the town, a place of real inspiration and the first of its kind in WN5.

It is set to be an emotional homecoming, and Latics supporters will receive the opportunity to be part of history. Tickets are just £2 for Adults, £1 for concessions, and FREE for Men's Season Ticket Holders.

Danielle Young and her team would really appreciate your support, as they look to build on their start to the 2025/26 Lancashire Women's County League Premiership season and aim to christen their new home with a victory.
