‘Off the Bench’ will support men and women to improve their health and fitness through exercise and education sessions

- Open to anyone with a BMI of 30+, Off the Bench will help people improve their health, fitness and knowledge through a 13-week activity and education programme

Wigan Athletic Community Trust and Wigan Warriors Community Foundation are proud to be launching ‘Off the Bench,’ a new innovative health and wellbeing programme to support people with a BMI of 30+ to improve their fitness, increase their activity levels and boost their knowledge of healthy living.
Off the Bench will run for 13 weeks at The Brick Community Stadium with weekly sessions every Monday evening between 6 pm – 7 pm.
Off the Bench is aimed at people with a BMI of 30+ who are looking to improve their health and fitness and make positive lifestyle changes. Sessions will be led by Wigan Athletic Community Trust and Wigan Warriors Community Foundation’s Health teams and coaches, who will lead members on exercise circuits and educational sessions in a pressure-free and inclusive environment to help members live happier and healthier lives.
The programme is completely free to access and includes a number of benefits, including:

- Access to the ‘Off the Bench’ WhatsApp group
- Free ticket to a Wigan Athletic match
