Tickle, 23, has kept 18 clean sheets for Latics this term

Sam Tickle has been recognised for his outstanding performances in the 2024/25 campaign by being named in the Sky Bet League One Team of the Season.

The Heatable Wigan Athletic Academy graduate has enjoyed another season to remember in the Third Tier, keeping 18 clean sheets in 44 appearances, and helping Latics once again retain their Third Tier status.

The 23-year-old, who has been at the Football Club for over a decade, received the incredible accolade at the annual EFL Awards Night in London on Sunday evening.
