Wigan Athletic is proud to announce that Tuesday's upcoming home fixture against Mansfield Town will be the Club's dedicated 'Together' game, celebrating equality, diversity and respect.

The annual ‘Together’ EDI fixture commemorates Pride and Black History Month and reiterates that football is for everyone.

Since the launch of the Together branding in 2016, Wigan Athletic has continued to use this platform to highlight a number of initiatives and schemes we have introduced and developed to encourage and celebrate equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) with all our supporters, community participants and staff.

One really successful initiative is the Tics Together group, which celebrates its one-year anniversary this month. Tics Together is a group for Wigan Athletic supporters who want to work together to make the Club and all things Wigan Athletic fully inclusive for everyone to be a part of. The Club provides an amazing outlet for people to be part of something special and we want everybody to have the opportunity to be part of that no matter their age, ability or background.

The group meets quarterly to discuss areas of strengths and improvements that can be made to break down barriers to attending Wigan Athletic games and being part of this proud community club.

The group is still in its early stages having been formed less than one year ago and is always looking for passionate supporters to join the group. Tics Together has raised key questions around accessibility, inclusivity and action with the first action of a specific Club Disabled Supporters Group being developed currently. The Club will show its support to Kick It Out and the LBTQ+ community prior to the Sky Bet League One clash, displaying big flags on the field before kick-off.
