Wigan Athletic have named their side to face Carlisle United in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy.

Latics make the midweek trip to Brunton Park, looking to extend their unbeaten run of form to seven games across all competitions since the September international break.

The Bristol Street Motors Trophy clash is of real significance to Latics, as a win is necessary if Maloney’s men want to progress into the knockout stages.

Having fallen to a home defeat against Morecambe in their opening game, Latics are joint-bottom of Group C, being tied with tonight’s opponents.

Given the Club’s recent backlog of fixtures, the Gaffer has again opted to make a number of changes, with only James Carragher retaining his place from last weekend's trip to Stockport County.

K'Marni Miller, a summer U21s signing, makes his Latics first-team debut, as does Tyrese Francois. Heatable Latics Academy graduates Tom Watson, Harry McHugh, Kai Payne, Scott Smith and Josh Stones all come into the starting line-up, along with Toby Sibbick, Jonny Smith and Michael Olakigbe.
