Smurfit Kappa, has merged with American packaging giant WestRock, to create Smurfit Westrock with the new branding to feature on the front of our first team shirts for the 2024/25 & 2025/26 seasons.

Wigan Athletic is delighted to share the news that Principal Partner, Smurfit Kappa, has merged with American packaging giant WestRock, to create Smurfit Westrock; a leading provider of paper-based packaging solutions in the world.
