Wigan Athletic were delighted to team up with local business Wincanton for KraftHeinz to provide the Family Zone with a fresh look ahead of our upcoming Sky Bet League One fixture against Cheltenham Town.

As part of Wincanton's pledge to give back to the local community and fundraise for local charities, teaming up with the Club for their latest project has provided both Latics and Wincanton with the opportunity to provide supporters with a fresh look Family Zone.

Crown Paints in Wigan were also kind enough to provide the paint for the Family Zone and the Club is thankful for their generosity.

Wincanton are passionate about giving back to the local community, with the opportunity there for its colleagues and partners to do something meaningful.

Speaking about the project, Wincanton's Site Coordinator Sharron Fox said: "Wincanton enjoy fundraising for many charities throughout the year and are passionate about supporting the local community.

"Helping to paint the Family Zone at Wigan Athletic has been a fabulous experience to see behind the scenes and meet Crusty Pie, but most importantly, to see how painting has transformed the spaces, which is very rewarding.

"We do this to give something back, and it's a great opportunity for our colleagues and partners to get together to do something meaningful. We look forward to helping where needed in future projects locally."

Wigan Athletic's Fan Engagement Officer, Diane Winnard, said:

"To have Wincanton for KraftHeinz come down to the DW and contribute to our Family Zone by helping give it a fresh look is brilliant - not only for the Club, but the Community.

"It's a space that is used by all supporters each home game to provide fun and games for all, and the help from Wincanton helps give it a new lease of life, whilst further enhancing our links with local businesses. We look forward to seeing Latics supporters in the Family Zone ahead of Friday's game against Cheltenham Town."
