Six Latics players have featured for their respective nations across the March international break over the last week.
Here is a full round-up of all the Tics in action, and how they fared for their countries…
RYAN NYAMBE
Ryan Nyambe featured for a full 90 minutes in Namibia’s 1-1 draw with Cameroon, helping his country earn their first point in their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign.
Latics’ right-sided defender will be hoping to again be involved, as Namibia host Cameroon in the immediate reverse fixture on Tuesday 28 March.
STEVEN CAULKER
Steven Caulker captained Sierre Leone for both of their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against São Tomé and Príncipe, contributing to a 2-2 home draw and a 2-0 away victory.
JAMES McCLEAN, JAMIE McGRATH AND WILL KEANE
James McClean won his 97th cap for the Republic of Ireland, appearing from the bench as they defeated Latvia 3-2 in an entertaining international friendly at the Aviva Stadium.
On-loan midfielder Jamie McGrath missed out, but he - along with McClean - could potentially feature on Monday evening as the Republic of Ireland get their Euro 2024 qualifying campaign underway with a home tie against France.
Will Keane, who did not feature against Latvia, will not be involved against France after he was not named in Stephen Kenny's squad.
DANEL SINANI
Danel Sinani added two more Luxembourg caps to his name, as he started in both of their Euro 2024 qualifiers against Slovakia and Portugal.
After earning a goalless draw against Slovakia, Sinani lined up against the stars of Portugal, though he was unable to prevent them from falling to a 6-0 defeat, inspired by Cristiano Ronaldo.
THELO AASGAARD
Thelo Aasgaard impressed for Norway U20s, as he helped the Vikings battle to a 2-2 draw against Italy U20s on Thursday 23 March.
The Latics Academy graduate will be hoping to add to his caps, when Norway host Romania on Monday evening.
JOSH MAGENNIS
Josh Magennis brought up his total international tally to 70, after he played in both of Northern Ireland's Euro 2024 qualifiers against San Marino and Finland.
After coming on in their 2-0 victory in San Marino, Magennis again appeared from the substitutes bench on Sunday 26 March, though he couldn’t stop them from being narrowly defeated by Finland.
