Wigan Athletic winger Jordan Jones has been nominated for the Sky Bet League One Player of the Month award following a fine month of performances in November.

Jones was a standout performer for Shaun Maloney’s men, helping Latics enjoy an unbeaten month.

The Northern Ireland international grabbed three assists in just six games and scored an outstanding individual goal in the home win against Fleetwood Town.

Nathan Baxter (Bolton Wanderers), Sam Hoskins (Northampton Town) and Kwame Poku (Peterborough United)are also nominated for the award.

The winner will be announced on Friday 8 December.

The judging panel for the Sky Bet Player of the Month comprises Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman; EFL Chief Executive Trevor Birch and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.
