Wigan Athletic defender Luke Robinson has joined cinch Premiership side St Johnstone on a season-long loan, subject to international clearance.
Robinson, 21, will head north of the border to link up with St Johnstone, having spent last term with Sky Bet League Two outfit Tranmere Rovers.
An international for Scotland at youth level, Robinson is a product of the Wigan Athletic Academy, who can play at both full-back and centre-back. He made his league debut for Latics in a 1-0 win at Sunderland in December 2020 and has gone on to make a further 32 appearances for the Football Club in the seasons that have followed.
Robinson, who signed a new contract last summer, will be aiming to get regular game time at McDiarmid Park, and we wish him all the best for the rest of the campaign.
