During a visit to the School, Assistant Head Teacher, Mr Lomax, said:

“The children benefit massively, not just on a sports level but on a social level, getting children involved in transferable skills or activities within sports is fantastic.

“We’ve not just seen an impact within lessons, it’s across school as well at break times and lunch times, there’s been a real benefit too.

“The Commhoist challenge was absolutely fantastic. Those children involved really gained a lot out of it. Working with the school council and the leadership team at school to raise the profile of sustainability and eco friendliness within school has been fantastic but that’s just one of many things we do with the Community Trust.

“It's a real great partnership we’ve got with the Trust, obviously it’s a local Trust that all the children love getting involved in, and having that partnership is fantastic.”
