Wigan Athletic Community Trust has been delivering the #PLInspires programme at this week’s School of the Week, Atherton High School.

The PL Inspires programme has helped students build confidence, improve behaviour and get out of their comfort zones
Students will also attend Latics’ match against Sheffield United on Monday

Atherton High School has been named School of the Week following the success of the PL Inspires programme at the school.

Community Trust staff have been delivering the programme to a multitude of different cohorts with the aim of improving confidence and behaviour, as well as getting students out of their comfort zone and learning new skills.

Students will also be attending Latics’ Sky Bet Championship match against Sheffield United on Monday night as a reward for successfully participating in the project.
