Wigan Athletic's Round of 16 Papa John's Trophy tie at Oldham Athletic will take place on Tuesday 4 January 2022 (kick-off 7pm).

Following victory over Accrington Stanley last month, Laitcs were drawn away at Oldham Athletic in the Round of 16 for a first competitive trip to Boundary Park in just over four years. The two sides did meet in pre-season back in July.
