Academy graduate selected for Norway’s U20 side for the first time.

Congratulations to forward Thelo Aasgaard who has been named in Norway U20s national team squad for their friendly against Germany on 6 September 2021.
The 19-year-old could be in contention to earn his first international cap for Norway U20, should he be involved in Jan Peder Jalland’s side.
Aasgaard has impressed at first team level after progressing through the Academy, making his senior debut for Latics in October 2020 against Peterborough United.
The skilful forward made 33 appearances and helped Latics to safety in Sky Bet League One last season, as well as making three appearances in all competitions so far in the 2021/22 campaign.
