Wigan Athletic’s final Papa John’s Trophy group stage fixture at Tranmere Rovers will now be played on Wednesday 11 November, kick-off 6.30pm.

The match has been put back a day due to Latics' Emirates FA Cup clash with Chorley being selected for live match coverage via BBC Digital platforms on Sunday 8 November.

Latics face Rovers in a game they must win outright or via penalties to ensure they progress to the knockout stages.

Latics beat Liverpool U21s 6-1 in their first group game but lost 3-1 at home to Port Vale last time out.

As previously announced, our November midweek fixtures at Blackpool and at home to Bristol Rovers will kick-off at 7pm to allow for more reasonable travel times.
