Owen Evans

It was a fifth consecutive victory for Owen Evans and Cheltenham Town on Saturday afternoon, as goals from Alfie May and Chris Hussey helped the Robins to a 2-0 away win at Colchester United to push themselves to three points behind Sky Bet League Two leaders Swindon Town.

Evans kept his second clean sheet in the space of three matches and his eight in League Two this season across his time with Cheltenham and previously, Macclesfield Town.

Michael Duff's side sit fourth in the table on 63 points, one point behind Exeter City in the automatic promotion places, two points behind Crewe Alexandra in second and three points from the top.

Callum Lang

Another of Latics' players out on loan picking up a victory was Callum Lang. The striker featured for 89 minutes as Shrewsbury Town picked up their second victory in three matches this week, as Daniel Udoh grabbed the only goal in a 1-0 win away at Bristol Rovers.

Salop now sit 15th in the Sky Bet League One table on 41 points, 16 points from the play-off places and 15 points clear of the relegation zone.

Adam Long

It was a break from National League action for U23 defender Adam Long and his Notts County team mates, as the Magpies thrashed Aveley 5-0 in the FA Trophy quarter final.

The game was Long's second appearance since joining the Meadow Lane club on, helping his side to a clean sheet on his first home appearance.

Josh Windass

Forward Josh Windass scored his second goal in three appearances for Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday, but the Owls fell to a 3-1 defeat against Derby County at Hillsborough.

Sheffield Wednesday sit 12th in the Sky Bet Championship table.

Bobby Jones

Warrington Town were denied all three points by a 96th minute equaliser away at FC United on Saturday, with eight goals shared in a 4-4 draw in the Northern Premier League.

Bobby Jones made his second appearances for the Yellows on the afternoon, with Warrington sixth in the NPL on 48 points and only outside of the play-off places on goal difference.

Elsewhere

Jack Sanders and Southport FC's trip to King's Lynn Town was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch, as was Olly Crankshaw and Dundee FC's home game against Arbroath in the Scottish Championship.
