Striker Callum Lang continued his run in the Shrewsbury Town team following his comeback from injury, featuring for 69 minutes in Salop's 2-2 draw away at Fleetwood Town.

The point has Shrewsbury 16th in Sky Bet League One on 34 points, seven points from Sunderland who occupy the final play-off place in sixth.

Lang and his team mates are this week preparing for their Emirates FA Cup fourth round home game against Liverpool on Sunday, live on BBC 1 at 5.00pm.

Owen Evans

Goalkeeper Owen Evans made his second appearance at his new club Cheltenham Town on Saturday, tasting his first defeat with the Robins in a narrow 1-0 loss away at Crewe Alexandra.

Cheltenham slipped to seventh in Sky Bet League Two as a result, three points behind Crewe who are now in the final automatic promotion place.

Jack Sanders was out of action at the weekend after Blyth Spartans' trip to AFC Telford was postponed, whilst Will McGuffie wasn't involved for Stafford Rangers in their 2-2 draw against Warrington Town.
