Latics host their first of two fixtures this week, with Bolton Wanderers the visitors to Christopher Park on Monday afternoon, before a Premier League Cup group stage fixture against Sunderland at the Lancashire FA on Friday evening.
Nick Chadwick's side's clash with Bolton is in the U23 Professional Development League, a division in which Latics sit fifth on 33 points.
Latics have won all eight of their fixtures in 2020 so far and are currently on an 11-game unbeaten sequence stretching back to the beginning of December.
Jensen Weir was on target last Thursday to ensure the winning run continued, grabbing his third goal of the season for the Under 23s two minutes from time against Sheffield United.
Visitors Bolton have lost 10 games in a row in the Professional Development League, with their only victory of the season coming back in October, a 4-2 away triumph at Sheffield Wednesday.
Previous Meetings
Latics and Bolton have met twice already this season, with Nick Chadwick's young charges winning on both occasions in October.
Olly Crankshaw and Kyle Joseph scored in a 2-0 victory in the Lancashire FA Senior Cup, with Jack Sanders and Divin Baningime on target four days later in a repeat score line in the league.
