It was a proud evening for Latics' summer signing Kieffer Moore on Monday evening when he lined up for the first time in an international fixture, as he made his debut for Wales in a 1-0 victory against Belarus at the Cardiff City Stadium.

Moore, who has previously been involved in training camps with Ryan Giggs' squad, played 75 minutes of the international challenge match before being substituted.

Daniel James scored the game's only goal, giving Wales a second victory in as many September internationals, following on from their 2-1 win against Azerbaijan in the UEFA Euro 2020 qualifiers last week. Moore was an unused substitute for that match.

Latics' Scotland international pair featured for the full 90 minutes in both of their country's UEFA Euro 2020 qualifiers at Hampden Park.

Scotland fell to a 2-1 defeat to Russia in their first match, before losing 4-0 to Belgium on Monday evening in the second.
