- Wales needed to beat Azerbaijan and Hungary in their final two qualifiers to progress
Wigan Athletic striker Kieffer Moore helped to secure Wales’ path to Euro 2020 this summer with another excellent performance as Ryan Giggs’ side beat Hungary 2-0 in Cardiff on Tuesday night.
Moore was a constant menace throughout as Aaron Ramsey scored twice to ensure Wales finished 2nd in Group E, with four wins, two draws and two defeats from their eight matches.
Having scored in Wales’ 2-0 win in Azerbaijan on Saturday, Moore led the line again for Wales, with Ramsey (Juventus), Gareth Bale (Real Madrid) and Daniel James (Manchester United) in support.
The win caps a fine couple of months for the striker, who made his international debut in September in a friendly against Belarus.
Congratulations to Kieffer and everyone associated with FA Wales.
